Ripoff

After getting an estimate from my local dealer for transmission repair I went to the newly opened Mr. Transmission for a second estimate.

Work was performed on my car without my authorization or approval, which is against the law in Connecticut.

After contacting the State with my concerns
and finding relative information at this sight,
I followed the advice of the state inspector and went to pay for the repairs to my vehichle and informed the dealer that I would be filing a complaint with the state.

Realizing his dilema, the manager gave me the car without charge and I agreed not to report him

One month later I received a letter threatening to garnish my wages. I immediately filed my report with the state. And now await the outcome.

I would have gladly paid for repairs to my vehicle, but I should have the choice, and do have the right to decide who performs them. Mr. Transmission violated my rights.
