Unneeded parts - Tires and inspection

We took our 2007 Ford Expedition to NTB in Robinson Township %u2013 Pittsburgh PA for inspection. We were advised we needed 4 new tires, 3 of which were purchased 9-1 when the vehicle had 68113 miles on it, the vehicle now has circa 89k miles. The tires we had your team install to include hazard insurance where a 65000 mile tire. The individual would apply a prorate credit to the previous tires even though were was even across all of them except 1.

Additionally the person wanted to replace:
1. Emergency Brake
2. Rear Rotors
3. Brake pads (front and back)

Since the attendant flustered me we decided it was in our best interest to take the vehicle elsewhere as if NTB is not going to warranty the tires they sell and install it most likely is not a company we should be working with considering we have 2 personal vehicles and 4 company vehicles that I am responsible for.

Additionally we took the vehicle to PepBoys for them to complete inspection instead, they replaced 4 tires and recommended an alignment which we approved. We also had them check brakes and all rotors in addition to the emergency brake %u2013 0 issues found.

What I would like NTB to do:
1. Refund the inspection fee
2. Provide the correct proration for the tires %u2013 calculated based off of tire price road hazard subtracting mileage utilized

Not a happy experience with your group and almost to the point that we were almost conned into purchasing things for the vehicle that were not required.

I would recommend anyone that needs any service at all to stay away from NTB.
