Ripoff They have you pay to work for them and then dont provide the "leads" or tools they promise North Carolina

I fell victim to this SCAM and am hoping to help some other hard working people to save their money. To be honest when I heard on the first conference call you had to pay $450 to start working for the company red flags went up, however I believed this was for administrative costs to get started and when Paul Smith (the owner) explained the $450 was refundable after 90 days as long as you located 10 leads (which the company was to provide). I figured considering the fact I am experienced Skip Tracer there would be no problem.

What was not clearly explained until AFTER my $450 money order was received was that they will not provide any actual "leads" until you "back-trace" one vehicle first, basically what this means is you have to go out in the streets late at night and per their advice seek out of state vehicles with expired tags (again to reiterate this is blindly with no lead provided) once you search for days and find one you have to get out of your vehicle and get the vin# send it back to them and hope its out for repossession. At this point you send an email to repo plus and within 3 days (cross your fingers the car is still there) they will get back to you and give you the lien-holders name.

At this point you have to establish contact with the lien-holder and negotiate with them. Next repo-plus will so kindly arrange for them to set up a contract with them. Again I do have a background in this field and anyone else who does will understand when I say to put it mildly repossession is a VERY time critical and dangerous business. Not only will you have to put your life in danger and negotiate with the leinholder on your own this is all done while holding your breath and crossing your fingers the collateral is still there. I tell you this just as a warning do with my experience as you wish. I just wanted to save someone else for the financial as well as emotional distress this company put me thru.
