Cold hearted people who couldnt even give two shits about who works for them

I just quit Kirby 2 weeks ago. No I'm sorry DCI, DP, Dyro. Whatever they are today.
Now, I think the damn vaccuum is amazing. If they knocked on my door one day, hell yeah I'd let them in, and yeah, I'd probably get one.

Secondly, I believed in the "Kirby oppurtunity" and still do. If your single, no kids, and have nothing to live for. Or you just have no compassion for anyone else in your life.
I worked there for a reasonable amount of time, and with my position, made pretty consistent monies.
My problem is not with Kirby or the machine or any other office.
It's with THIS company and how they choose to treat people in general.

Now, I went into this believing. I sold machines. Hell, I sold them my first day. Then, I was "promoted" after 2 weeks. My promotion consisted of loss of AC, food, and pretty much any other human interaction for hours, besides of course asking complete strangers to let us in their home over and over and over and over, like I said for hours.

They do tell you, "Don't be afriad to use Kirby at the door". But then they'll take you to the same neighborhood like 3 times a week, so the whole subdivision at that point knew who you were even if you didn't use Kirby. It got to be kind of a joke, talking to the same people, telling them it was a "one day promotional" when we were there 5 times so far in the month.

Another thing, is the people that actually keep a job there, have no concern for other people whatsoever. I know of one "lady" (not very ladylike AT ALL), who was married, and basically used the job to cheat on her spouse. She was a drunk. Sometimes, drunk on the job and I know this because. Well frankly, I don't work there anymore so I don't give a damn, but I went to happy hour with her. While, I was done with my job and can handle myself, she on the other hand was plastered, belidgerant (spellck), and just uncontrollable at that point. Now, this was a supervisor of a whole team. She had already broken rules by letting 2 other dealer reps leave early, basically to get them out of her hair so she could go drink, but then she still had a guy in a house demonstrating. Whats worse, is that the poor guy SOLD the machine and didn't have a team leader to help with paperwork, credit check, anything! That night ended with her getting angry with me because I had to help him and I was cussed at and screamed at for the remainder of the hour long drive home.
Basically, everyone else had no life when they got into the company and continue to have no lives. If they did find "love", it was either with another Kirby person who had no life or, as the case with Mr. Dickers, someone who loves Kirby money. He cheats on her anyways so I guess it doesn't matter who or what she loves anyways.

I lost my family, got evicted, lived in a hotel and had no food for 2 weeks for this job. They cut you off from everything that matters and when you leave it almost feels like you were brainwashed for a time. I think back on it now, which thank God I'm picking up the peices of my life slowly but surely, and I cannot believe that I continued working there for as long as I did. I literally lost everything lol.

Honestly, I would have never posted any of this. But Dan has to have the last laugh and when I finished my work week and quit, he proceeded to pay me 50$ for 80 hours of walking out in the Houston summer weather, with a lunchable, bottle of water, and a prayer someone was dumb enough to let me in.
The funny thing is that I only quit because my previous check couldnt even keep a motel roof over my head and I had to move with somebody on the other side of town. BUT like they say, everything happens for a reason, and I thank God for that shitty check because otherwise I would still be running on blind faith and living in a hotel room with no life.
