Distinct Employment
False Job offe

Career & Work

I received two emails, the first was to say that there was a position available, Clerical Assistant. I went online and applied for the job and the next day I received an email that said I had been selected for an interview and additional information might be needed for the hiring process and that I needed to go online to complete my application. Well, I went online, and updated some information here and there, when I got to the last page, it wouldn't let me submit my updates. I was a little frustrated because that page was the reason my application was still listed as incomplete, but there was no option to submit my updates. I searched on-line trying to locate contact information about Distinct Employment to report the error, but could not find anything about them. I then went on-line and typed in the address at the bottom of the email and found this site, amongst others, that have nothing but complaints for apparently the same company operating under different names. Please go ahead and add Distinct Employment to your list. At first, when I read the one complaint, I was like maybe it's not the same, but when I read the last part of the email that was attached to the complaint, it was almost verbatim what my email said.

People have got to stop messing around with people's emotions, especially during a time such as this. I do believe that God is in control and all of these people with these phony scams and false hopes will reap what they have sown.

I tried to copy the email that was sent to me, however it isn't allowing me to. I also tried to print it as a PDF file, but then I can't upload it.
