Other people obtain the BS "No holiday or time-off permitted after December 1st" remark from their supervisors?

I've needed to skip 3 Holiday' with my loved ones and an upcoming family wedding since when I request time-off Iam informed "Sorry you realize the principle, virtually no time down after November 1st"
