Belk
Horrible Company

Career & Work

I worked for Belk and I would like to say it had been the toughest organization I've actually worked for. I've never been thus stressed-out over a department-store work before, actually at macys or jcpenny. They intentionally don't employ enough people-so the supervisors will receive a reward at the conclusion of the entire year for spending a specific amount of workers under a specific amount of earnings. Forget looking to get any overtime. I can't say just how many occasions clients reported in my experience about how exactly there's never anybody in the surfaces once they are prepared to checkout. Its simply because they just place one individual in each change, therefore truly one individual does work that will often consider three or four people. And, being an employee, I had been handled terribly by my boss. I understand this includes a lot of careers, but I had been not really educated, simply tossed on the register, but still got in big trouble since i didnt understand anything. Additionally they charged me of taking after I employed some worker "belkie bucks" to purchase some godiva chocolate. I had been annoyed. I had been ultimately dismissed since I really could not get enough individuals to complete credit programs. I had been the only real truthful worker there, others composed phony titles with fake SSN plus they might get credit. It surely hurts, since a lot of these workers were buddy-buddy using the administrators, so that they wouldnt enter difficulty. Worst business actually.
