Ripoff accused of 40,000 dollar theft, sexually harassed while pregnant job threatened had to fight for unemployment

In 1996, whike working for pizzaHut I was volunteered to work uot of the Holbrook, Az. Store. On the first day of work, We we're discussing rooming arrangements. Betty Carter told me that I was to be her roommate. I asked her why me? She replied that she wanted me to stay up late with her to watch porn, eat popcorn and do girl stuff, just me and her alone together for a week. I declined. I got lucky and had gotten sick. I was 7 months pregnant at the time.in january of 1997, Betty noticed that I was pregnant and asked me if I had filled out the insurance papers to cover me in case I had an accident while I was pregnant and working. I asked her what insurance papers and she said 'They didn't tell you? Then never mind' On january 5, of the same year I went into labor at work. When I notified the then manager, Dale Black, I was asked to continue working until I couldn't take it any more. I called my sister and was rushed in a snow storm to flagstaff medical center for emergency surgery. I was sent home from the hospital a week later. I called to let them know I was out of the hospital and would be on medical leave for 3 months. I was told by Betty that I had one month to recover and if I was not back in 4 weeks I would be let go. I advised Betty that I would get a lawyer and sue for wrongful termination and she changed her mind about my job. I should have known something was up. When I returned to work in April of 1997 I learned that I was pregnant again. I only worked for 29 days. On the 29th day I was informed by Betty that She and the new manager, bunni, needed to talk to me, I assumed we would meet in the back at her desk. That wasn't the case. I was instructed to sit in the eating area. At that time, Betty and Bunni pulled out a tape recorder and proceeded to tell me that the other employees had complained about me bieng abusive and stealing money from the company. When I asked her who had accused me, she said it was none of my business. She stated she had proof and that I should admit to stealing over 40,000 dollars of company profit from January to March. I told her that I hadn't done that and in front of a restaurant full of people she berated me and demanded that I admit guilt. The whole time the patrons watched in awe as she tried to make me confess. I said I did no such thing and she demanded that I resign or she would file charges of embezzelment on me. I was so upset that I did resign and I filed for unemployment, which I was denied because Betty told them that I quit without good cause. I filed a claim and went in front of a judge. The proof that Betty allegedly had mysteriously diappeared and she and the manager declined to testify. I still have the documentation, and won my case and paid unemployment due to me. Since then I have never set foot inside a PizzaHut
