So this is the deal. This is a blimpie franchise located on michigan avenue in lansing, and another one on pennsylvania avenue in lansing, michigan. They have the same owner. So the problem is at both locations.

The scam goes like this.

1 Blimpie offers two slices of cheese on a six inch and 4 on a 12 inch. So the owner Robert and his cousin Todd who run this place ripoff customers by only giving them 3 slices of cheese on a footlong and try to charge a dollar for an extra slice, which you should be getting free, they do the same thing on the six inch sub, you should get two slices, they give one.

2) Then when they run out of regular cheese available at all blimpie nationwide franchises like provolone, america, swiss, cheddar, pepperjack, they try to charge extra for regular cheese portions you should be getting on your sub, by saying, we ran out of the regular cheese, so we had to BUY cheese from meijers or walmart, or some crap, and they charge two dollars or so for that.in reality, the whole time its the regular cheese, and you cannot tell the difference, and you have to pay just for getting cheese on a sub.

3) They charge for using the womens bathroom, they only have the mens bathroom open, when they should have both bathrooms open It is not right to discriminate against women. They purposely do not fix the womens bathroom. They hide the key behind the counter. And when you ask for bathroom key, as a female, they say oh sorry, only the mens work, and we have to clean up, so we charge for the bathroom, and its not working or they come up with some crap.

4) They do not honor national blimpie franchise specials, so any promotion you see on tv or have coupons they just say, we ran out or we are not reimbursed by national so we cannot do it. So if you have a loyalty card, they will not even punch in after you have subs at their place, it is a huge racket.

5) The one employee who works behind the counter his name is todd, he is around 5 feet 9 inches, middle to late thirties white guy, who hates talking to people and giving good customer service, and they often lock the door on customers coming in big groups, and will not open the glass door, unless you pay for extra for large group, what kind of fee is this, they say they are scared of big groups and they have to lock the door, to make sure they can charge the extra fee in advance.

6) The owner rob is probably a dropout, he keeps justifying his lack of customer service and scams, by coming up with some excuse or the other, they have what looks like some ants, mold and all kinds of potential diseases walking around this place, if not looked into soon

7) The tomatoes are stale

8) The dressings are stale

9) They do not clean the knife or the grill area, when serving vegetarian and non vegetarian subs, and they do not listen to customer feedback, asking them to do so, as they seem lazy.

10) So avoid this joint and be aware of the rip off, go to blimpie in another town or just go to subway or make a sub at home. These people are sick and disgusting in our opinion
