Complaint of price of pumpkin cheese cake - Pumpkin Cheese Cake

I feel as though I have been ripped off!
Just yesterday (11/14/09) I stopped by a Cheese Cake Factory and purchased 2 slices of pumpkin cheese cake for $6.95 for each slice. I went next door to Barnes and Noble and found that same cheesecake for only $4.95 per slice.
How can there be such a price discrepancy for the same cheese cake?
Next time I want cheese cake, I'll go to the book store first!
