Manager refused to replace missing items

On 01/17, I called Jack in the Box to report missing items (one 50 cent taco) and I ordered a large french fry but it was missing and not on receipt. The manager took name and told me he would replace it if I come back but I told him I would not be back that day as putting my baby to sleep. He took my name and said just let them know next time I come by.

On 01/19, I went through drive thru at same location and placed a $15.00 order. At the end I told rep about the missing large fry and 'one' taco (which is half an order as they come in orders of two. The rep got manager who told me they could not replace those items and my name wasn't written down. They asked if I had the receipt. I told her I didn't but my name should be down. She said it is against policy to missing food. I told her that I didn't know I was coming and would of brought receipt for the 50 cent taco if I had known. Manager never said 'sorry' nor sound like she cared. I told her to cancel the entire order over a 50 cent taco and $2 fry on a $15 order. She said no problem at all and again did not say sorry. She just paused until we finally drove off. I couldn't believe it!!! Or course, we went to Wxxxx's across the street instead.

I did file complaint with their 800 number and did get an 'I am Sorry'. I just can't believe the company would lose $15.00 over $2.50 in missing items. I probably wouldn't be so angry if they could of at least said 'I am sorry'. Either way, just really bad customer experience to company we visit 2-3 times per week for our family of 7.
