Employees being punished for being sick

Hello, this complaint deals with this particular franchise punishing its employees for being sick. It has come to my attention that the Mcdonalds corporation forces there employees to get a doctors note when they are sick. These poor people are barely making enough money to make ends meet in this economy. If the loss of a day is not bad enough, forcing them to pay a doctor for a note is really horrible. The only people with insurance are managers.
I'm thinking a class act suit is in order, for all the loss and emotional suffering that they have to endure. Or the corporate big bosses can do a little revision and implement 21st century practices, like sick days for full time employees or some form of minor insurance for days when women get there periods and are so cramped up that they can barely walk. Why should they lose a day of work and have to pay a doctors bill that will cost them several days of work... The corporation needs to do something soon.in this time of problems that all of us are going threw, they need to step up and be more compassionate...
