Capital Ripoff & RUDE!

About 7:15 P.M. We received a knock at the door. A man in shorts and a Capital Meats t-shirt is going door-to-door to sell cases of meat, seafood, chicken and pork. His sales pitch consisted of the word "honestly" in every other sentence. We were hit up for $2,628.00 for 10 cases of meat and a "free" small storage freezer and a "free" Charbroil grill were to be thrown in. We told him multiple times that we would need to talk it over and that we don't shell out that much money to a knock at the door in 15 minutes. My wife is out of work from a spinal cord injury and mentioned this, to which he replied, "Oh, so you're having money problems. Is it just the money?" We kept telling him no and that we needed to talk over for such a purchase. He then lowered the price to $2,400, then to $2,100 and talked about how he needed just one more sale to reach 10 for his bonus. Afterall, he "had to feed his family too."

We kept giving him the same answer at least 10 or more times. I used to be in sales, when a potential customer says no 3 times, then that's your answer. Not to mention that he lost all credibility when he lowered the price by $500 so quickly. When he left, he was stomping out of the house with an attitude, "So, you were interested but now after I've been here an hour, you just can't." I followed him outside, to hear him cursing - he didn't know I was behind him... Well... He wouldn't have been here so long if he had listened the first several times.

I suggest that they better train their sales people to say the least.
