Woody Omelette

Having breakfast this morning (July 17) at IHOP in Beaverton, OR, I ordered an omelet with mushrooms. There was a piece of wood inside the omelet that hurt my mouth. I called the waitress, and he quickly took it out of my hands. Four minutes later someone shows up without introducing himself and said "I'm sorry, what would you want?" I said I wanted to know what a piece of wood would be doing inside my food." I don't know he said, “I think is from packing process." “But the mushrooms get washed before they are cooked”. He then, asked if I wanted another omelet, and I asked him if I had to pay for it. He said no and went to order another one without asking if I was ok! Then, another employee, not the person who took care of the problem or the waitress brought me another omelet. Two minutes later, the waitress came back and said “here is your receipt and he didn’t charge you for it”, before I even tried a second omelet. This seemed like an invitation to leave the restaurant. Then, I tried it, but my tongue and throat started to feel itchy, so we left the restaurant and paid my husband's and daughter’s food to go to an urgent care. As we walked out of the restaurant, the person who ordered the second omelet stood close by the exit. He didn’t say thank you for coming or a simple bye.
