Jeff Stephens He will not pay me my last check. I went on sat 3-27-10 to pick up my check they said they mailed it. I called for it again on wednesday, they said they mailed it tuesday, today is friday still no pay

I recently got fired for calling out sick with a stomach virus. Once I returned they told me I have to have a doctors note to return to work. I have no insurance so this wasnt possible. I went back on saturday to pick-up my paycheck and they told me they mailed it out on friday March 26th. Local mail takes no longer than 2 days. On wednesday March 30th i called to ask if I could please just come pick up my check. They said they mailed it out on Tuesday. This shows they originally lied to me when they said they mailed it out on friday. Today is Friday April 2nd 2010. Still no check. I called once again telling them i need my check. They responded in extremely bad profanity and told me to never call back there again. I would advise not to waste your time if your thinking of working there. It is really bad pay and they have no idea how to run a resturant. They only have the business because of a construction job that went bad and they took over the company. The husband is a contrustion worker and the wife had a cleaning company. They put 5 job in one. You take the order, make the food, and serve it to the table, at the same time you make the food for all the delivery orders and catering orders as well. If anyone knows of a way for me to obtain my last paycheck please let me know!!!
