Crave Restaurant In Fairfield, NJ Use their coat check at your own risk! And expect to wait an hour for the valet to bring your car when you leave

Just thought you people might be interested in hearing about my first experience at Crave Rest. & Lounge in Fairfireld, NJ. I checked my coat at their coat check after waiting about 10 mins for the coat check girl to appear. I gave her my coat and got a ticket. So far so good... Well other then having to wait.

Well at closing a went to retrieve my coat and surprise surprise it was nowhere to be found. The coat check girl didn't seem to know what to do so she fetched a bartender to handle this matter. I asked to speak to the manager and I was told there was no manager on duty and was assured this matter would be resolved tomorrow. He seemed sincere and I took him on his word.

Strangely, after having to have to wait so long for the valet to bring the car around (over a half hour) I went inside because it was like negative 10 with the windchill and I was wearing a short sleeve shirt with no coat. There were 2 woman demanding to speak to the manager because they said they were waiting an hour for their car. All of a sudden there was a manger on duty and he was drinking a beer. I explained the situation and he smile and said "I don't know what to do"

To make a long story short they are refusing to compensate for my coat and I've filed a Civil Suit against them. I just think you should be aware that you might have a similar experience. On a positive note the Lounge had a nice environment and if you don't loose your coat or wait forever for your car than you may have a nice time.
