Ripoff lousy attitudes, service, and dirty place

I always order their onion rings when I visit Burger King for a meal. I like the menu they have, but the help they hire are in need of re-training.

It's been several months since I'd last went to the Burlington, Iowa store, but I seriously doubt that the place has changed for the better.

My daughter and I stopped buy for a bite to eat around 2:00pm the last time we were there. I first mentioned that a little boy had just dumped a cup of ice and pop in the entrance way to the store. The person waiting on me said, "Yeah the customers treat this place as if it were their home." I told her that I didn't know how they lived at home, but someone could slip in the mess if someone didn't clean it up soon.

We placed our food orders, paid and waited for the order to come up. When I was given my food I noticed my onion rings were missing, replaced by fries. When I told them of the discrepency, the food server told me that fries were paid for on my reciept. She was very perturbed at my request for onion rings and grabbed an order of fries off of the platter and tossed them into the trash. She got an order of rings and tossed them on the serving platter, then two large rings bounced up off of the platter and hit the floor in front of me. I was stunned. I wanted to snatch her by the neck and thump her. Then she said I recieved a full order of rings nonetheless and walked off to do something else.

Meanwhile, the server that took our order and money, proceeded to clean up the spilled pop and eating area. We were sitting near the cleaning closet where she took a dirty looking wash cloth from a bucket of dirty water and proceeded to wipe off tables, seats & chairs, trash receptacles, then finally the pop dispenser and ice machine. Never once did she rinse that dirty rag and that rag touched everything she tried to clean. I bet this is the way she cleans up at home.

I tried to complain to the BK corporate office, but they just refer you to the store manager.

I'd never go back there anyway.
