AKA Cheesesupply.com ripoff

Placed an order on Jan 26, and paid via paypal within 5 minutes of placing the order. Heard NOTHING from this company for days, until I checked back at the website on the 29th and the order was "processing". Emailed the support link on their contact page (there is no phone number). On the 31st, was told by John R Newman that my order is delayed 2 days because paypal orders take 2 business days to verify payment.

That was on the 3rd business day already, and he went on to say it would ship on Wednesday - 5 business days from the order. On Wednesday Feb. 2nd, I get an email that both products are backordered. I emailed support again - the live support link apparently never has anyone attached to it - and asked that my order be cancelled and my money refunded. This time they at least email back the same day.

John will submit my request to accounting, but I won't have been charged because it's their policy that they don't charge until they ship. BUT as I emailed him back, and he knew 2 days earlier as he used it as the excuse for their delay, the order was PAID for with paypal. Also sent email to the address listed at paypal. Since then neither has bothered to reply to me, and they have not refunded the money.

He included a note that their policy is to not cancel an order once it has been shipped. Except by their own admission the order was backordered. My guess is their stalling to wait until they can ship it.in the meantime, I've filed a complaint with paypal to try to get my money back. This was to be a gift, $35 for a pound and half of Norwegian cheeses, and thanks to their inept business they left me missing it. Now they won't even give me the courtesy of a reply...
