Applebee's
Food Quality / portion - Sirloin w / garlic shrimp

After a meeting last I suggested to a group of friends that we eat at Applebees, I hadn't eaten there in a while but remember the food being great and getting a great value. We were greeted and seated immediately and our server was pleasant and thorough, I have no complaints about the service but was very disappointed with my entree. The steak was tough and was overcooked and did not look appetizing when it was served to me. The photo in the [new] menu
showed a juicy succulent piece of meat. I would have sent it back but it was late, I was hungry and was very embarrassed to have suggested Applebees to my friends. As I looked around I saw that my friends portions were also very small compared to the photo in the menu and did not look appetizing. I would like to have a good experience at Applebees - please make me a believer.
