Pizza Man
Received uncooked pizza after receiving wrong order

Last Saturday night my boyfriend who uses a wheelchair and I stopped in at Pizza Man Pizza in Columbia Heights, MN (a take out restaurant). Since we had not ordered in advance, we had to wait about 20 min. For our "take out special" pizza. When he handed me the pizza, I asked him what kind it was and learned that they used black olives instead of the green olives we ordered. Therefore, they had to make another pizza for us. The second pizza didn't take as long and the person who seemed to be managing the store said he would give us a free order of cheese bread due to their mistake.

I watched them make our pizza and put it in the oven. It didn't take as long, and while our pizza was baking, they opened up the oven door many times. After we got home, I found our pizza was soggy and undone. When I called the manager, he just said that the pizza was brown on the bottom. Therefore, he said it was cooked. I hung up on him. Isn't this a lovely way the Pizza Man treats their disabled and handicapped customer.

My boyfriend already has a serious disease and it could have gotten worse from their uncooked pizza. Do you know how difficult it is for somebody in a wheelchair to get around? It is called courage.

I have ordered from Pizza Man once before and the pizza was excellent. (Ordered in advance and picked up because the wait time would have been too long for a delivery.) The crust was thin and crispy. So that is why we went back. After we use their $5.00 off on our next pizza (I think we should have received another free pizza), I will never go back to them again.
