On October 27, I submitted an online application to Centennial requesting a Mastercard credit card. They responded by email, that it may take up to 30 days to get a reply. Amazingly, October 28, Usa of First Link Financial called my cell phone and stated I was approved for a $2500.00 Mastercard and that I needed to send them $324.00 immediately via my checking account. I questioned the suddeness of this and then the deal was sweetened. Usa stated that I would also get a Gateway computer with their offer, but I needed to respond immediately.
I told her that I needed to think about it and that I wanted to confirm with Gateway that they were involved. Usa gave me the telephone number to called their customer service department (800 315-0356).initially when called, it answered you have reached the "customer service department", no one was available and to leave a callback number.
It is now disconnected as of October 30. October 30, via U S Post Office, I received a decline response for an "unsecured " credit card and offered a "secured" credit card offer.
