Promised Stepping Stone Refinance Denied, Whole Acreage Listed

In 2003 we were told that we could refinance our home on a stepping stone program with a low interest rate. We had to refinance one year later, after our credit score was built up. After building up our credit score tremendously, the interest rate has gone up instead of down. They are now saying that there is no such thing as the stepping stone program. We were supposed to be charged nothing for the next refinancing in 2004.

I contacted the attorney general's office and am waiting to hear back. They have also listed our entire acreage at the deed office, although only 5 acres were supposed to be included in the financing. Please email me if you have heard of the stepping stone program. It is time these crooks are confronted. I am willing to get into a lawsuit. The Greensboro, NC office that started us on the program is no longer there. Imagine that!
