Ripoff scam!

I was contacted on or about the 1st of October from Liberty Group Service when they offered me a credit card with a credit limit of $2500 and a $1000 cash advance. The person that I spoke with was a guy named Benjamin Ward. He spoke about the card and said that I needed to give him my account information and they woould debit my account $300. He made the offer sound way too good. And me, being a ding bat, gave him my information. My account was debited $300 on the 18th of October. I called the company and asked to speak with a supervisor and the person I was speaking to said that he was the supervisor. I explained to him the situation and the guy said that it was not in their computer system that they had recieved my funds, and once they had, they would refund my money. However, that process would take up to 10-14 days because they have to send out some type of request. BULLCRAP!!! I am still trying to contact the company to get my money back. This was a complete SCAM. I should have gone with my gut instinct. When you feel like something is not right, go with that feeling. I am a single mother of a 6 weeks old newborn and I definitely couldn't afford to lose that kind of money. On top of that, the money that was in my account before they debited my account was for other thing. I had written out checks and that money would cover that. Now I am suffering bounced checks, on top of which I am accruing bank fees and company returned check fees because they took my money. I am contacting the BBB to file a complaint against this company. I wounder if all of the people this happened to got together to sue that company, could we do that?
