Collection agency violating the law

Express Recovery Services, Inc, an assortment company, went after my child-in law (Lissa) to get a debt she didn't owe. They went after her to get a debt owed exclusively by her spouse to his physician. Lissa had never been an individual of the physician. Lissa named the doctor’s workplace plus they stated they didn't deliver her title towards the collection company; they delivered her husband’s name-but not at all hers. She named me really annoyed as her credit had been influenced.in Utah, it's illegal to-go after a person to get a private debt owed by their partner. Utah Code Ann. §30-2-5 (1), offers that neither partner accounts for the private obligations, obligations and responsibilities of another. I approached Express Recovery Solutions and had the catastrophe of speaking with a rude bully. After I attempted to describe that the things they were performing was illegal, he abandoned and stated they “were really conscious of that law.” Having a discussion with this specific person wasn't within the cards as he spoke over me in an exceedingly noisy arrogant speech and that I easily noticed I had been losing my period. I named him a % bully and hungup.

Lissa subsequently published a notice to State Recovery Solutions and delivered a duplicate towards the Utah Consumer Protection Agency. She was approached from the Customer Protection Agency and recommended to document a using the Federal Trade Commission. She questioned easily might do this on her as she's her fingers complete with three young children and that I was the main one who really spoke using the collection company.

Since Specific Recovery Solutions accepted they understand what the law states, it's obvious they're intentionally breaking the law in the manner they perform their company, pursuing people, threatening them, hurting their credit, to get a debt Communicate Recovery Solutions understands the person doesn't owe. It's confusing in my experience how businesses escape with intentionally doing their company within an illegitimate method.
