Ripoff Governent Grant Association Fraud Grant Fraud Asking for Bank Account Number Phone Fraud Clearwater Florida

Business & Finance

I received a call from a man with a thick indian accent telling me because I paid taxes that I was elgible for a 5,000 dollar grant that would be put in my account. He was rude and insisted I give him my bank name and bank account number, drivers license and social security number. I refused to and questioned him and he became upset and more assertive. He said each call was federally regulated which is a big lie. I quickly called the Clearwater Police Dept. And am in the process of filing a report.

No federally regulated business would ask for any such information.

Please continue to report if you have been a victim in order to stop fraudulent behaviour. I recommend contacting the Key Largo Police Fraud department in Florida.
