No Prorated Refund When Closing Safe Deposit Box Early

When you rent a safe deposit box from Chase Bank, they charge you annually a rent charge. But if you want to close the box you get no money back. Even if it still has 11 months of usage left when you close it. They now keep your money and re-rent your box to someone else. They are double dipping on their rental income. And if you ask why there is no prorate of funds they get very nasty.
Says a lot about their customer service.
