Rip-Off Won't reimburse bank charges due to their mistake michigan

Western Union admits rejecting a money order deposited for the correct amount at my bank. But they will not reimburse me for the return item charge.

The best they will do is send me a check (1) for the money order amount within 6-10 days after I mail it to them.

The supervisor said they didn't have to pay for their mistakes due to their "indemnity clause." He also said I should submit it again via my bank at least one more time (perhaps incurring another return item charge) before resorting to the mail.
