First Link Financial
Claimed to want to give us Mastercard through our bank, supposedly a credit bureau, hung up when we challenged the likelyhood of a credit bureau offering us a credit card

Business & Finance

A "representative" of First Link Financial called on several occassions, and a number never showed up on the caller ID. When a number, 223-2263, did appear, I answered the phone and an Indian sounding woman asked for my husband. She claimed to be working for FLF and said that she was trying to get us a credit card through our bank. When my husband asked what bank, she said, "Any bank." She said that she was working for a credit bureau, and when my husband told her that credit bureaus do NOT solicit credit cards, she hung up. Later, a man called back, no number appearing, and seemed to call in order to smooth over the whole story. Don't get scammed!
