I have had an account with US Bank in Taylorville, IL for over 20 years. There is often a wait to do business with the tellers; however, today, after waiting about 10 minutes with 1 customer before me and 4 employees behind the counter (2 in the vault counting change for the other customer, 1 flirting with the customer, and 1 doing what looked to me as nothing), I asked to speak to a supervisor. Three people came to me (2 who were nice but could do nothing, and the chief customer service officer). I was told that all behind the counter were trainees and could'nt help me. WHERE WAS THE TELLER DOING THE TRAINING? I trained employees in the Il Attorney General's office in customer service. First rule, don't leave customers waiting without some explanation. If you see a problem, ask your supervisor for help. All I got today was a rude response from the Customer Relations Chief, who did cash my check, but gave me a snarky "Sorry for your wait." Too bad. This used to be the best and largest bank in town. Think I'm going bank shopping!
