Beware of Ramona Kleemann

We are Aquinas Council, Knights of Columbus in the bronx, NY. On February 6th Ramona Kleemann came to our building and promised us a re-finance. On that date she accepted a payment check for $2,500.00. She also repeatedly told us that she would be financing with her funds and that she was the lender. The letter of intent was received on Feb. 8th and stated that we would be closed with 60 days. P;On Aoril 3rd we received an e-mail from Ramona Kleemann stating that she would be in touch with us by the end of the month. She also told us by phone that we would be closing by the end of April. After this point we were unable to contact her by phone for several weeks. When using a different phone that she did not know she surprisingly answered. She said she was having phone problem; Over the next few months we received promises of closings on May 29th, June 1st, 11th, 21st and july 2nd. After 7 months we asked Ramona Kleemann for a refund of our original payment. She now states that she will refund our money when she finds the lender. Her initial promise was that SHE was the lender and SHE had the funds. Do not give Ramona Kleemann money. We will answer any questions and show you documentation of these events.
