Beware of Ramona Kleemann NY

We are a Knights of Columbus Council (a non-profit, charitable organization) based in The Bronx, NY. On Feb. 6th Ramona Kleemann came to our building and promised us a re-finance of our mortgage. On that date she accepted a payment check for $2,500.00. She also repeatedly told us that she would be refinancing with her funds and that she was the lender. The letter of intent we received on Feb. 8th stated that we would be closed within 60 days.

On April 3rd we received an e-mail from Ramona Kleemann stating that she would be in touch with us by the end of the month. She also told us by phone that we would be closing by the end of April. After this point we were unable to contact her by phone for several weeks. When finally contacted at a different phone # than she had provided us, she stated that she had been having phone problems.

Over the period of the next few months we received repeated promises of closings on May 29th, June 1st, June 11th, June 21st and July 2nd. After 7 months we asked Ramona Kleeman for a refund of our original payment. She now states that she will refund our money when she cotacts the lender. Her initial promise was that SHE was the lender and had the funds.

Please be aware of Ramona Kleeman and don't give her your money unsuspectingly. Be aware as well that she does business under the title Optimus Business Solutions.
