Credit Life Insurance rip off

We bought furniture on a same as cash basis on the store credit card. We denied credit life on the application. The salesman checked that we wanted it anyway. We caught it and had him uncheck it and asked him if he was sure it would not be put on the loan. He assured us it was not. Four months into the payments we noticed that the amount that was interest free was not going down as it should be. After further looking we were being charged monthly for credit life insurance. We disputed it and the card company looked into it and said that we had signed for it so they could not credit us back, however they could cancel it. We will never shop with you again.
