Mortgage Lender SCAM. Ripoff artist

On July 23 we received an email from a John Fulton who was as kind as pie and explained because of our high risk credit status they had found us a private lender that is willing to give us a second chance type of loan and just needed a collateral of four months payments to secure the loan.

On August 10 we sent the required collateral Mr. Fulton assured me that it was guaranteed and that they did not want to ruin their reputation with the BBB. Which I thought sounded legitimate. We waited over 24 hours and then tried to call our loan agent who not available at his desk all of a sudden.

On Monday we tried again and had to push different numbers to finally get someone to answer the phone. This person named Sara Jenkins said it was red flagged as too high of a credit risk and now the lender was requiring the OPTIONAL insurance which cost another 1200.00. We said we don't have that to cancel the loan and refund our money. Which she said she did and then we were to call back on a Saturday to speak with the refund department who would in turn give us the confirmation number or tracking number and that someone would need to be there to sign for the cashier's check.

So, here it is Saturday and we had to use a different phone to call from to get someone to answer the phone and the customer service man said that refund department is only open Monday thru Friday. Surprise Surprise! We told them that they are a scam and that our attorney would be contact with them and the man actually faltered in his speaking saying we are not a scam. Blah blah blah.

So please be aware of this company!!! I hope no one else has to go through what we are currently going through. If they refund my money come Monday I will apologize but I do not see that happening. I will be filing a complaint with the Federal Trade, BBB, Consumer Fraud Protection, and the FBI as the money was wired internationally.
