NBA - Anything to make a Sale!

Nationwide Biweekly Administration (NBA) has been direct debiting and paying my mortgage lender for the past 2 years. When I enrolled in this program, I had to pay a pretty hefty fee to set up an account. However, the customer service representative explained to me that I could add as many bi-weekly payments as I would like on this account.

I specifically remember this conversation because, at the time, I was in the process of getting my master's degree and knew I would want a service such as NBA's to help pay my student loans after graduating. I figured I would splurge on the hefty fee since I would be using them for these payments in the future.

Upon graduation, I called NBA to set up my student loans bi-weekly payments with them. Very quickly the costomer service representative explained that I would have to pay another hefty fee to set up a "seperate" account. I explained to her what the customer service representative explained to me when I originated the account 2 years ago. She said that he was mistaken and that there would be an addition fee.
