Dubious loan practices

Disappointing and possibly dishonest: I went through the entire process and then was denied the refi loan because they said it was a bad appraisal. Odd, since they hired the certified appraiser themselves.

Another mortgage company suggested that AHC might have backed out of the loan because they didn't lock in the interest rate and couldn't deliver the loan as promised.

Also, the agent I had been dealing with promised to call me 3 different days, but never did.
