Ripoff, trying to double collect on a debt

G.S. Financial is trying to collect on a debt from a hospital bill that i am paying through a debt mamagement company. I have been using this company for over two years without any problems.

G.S. Financial says that they don't care and that they have every right to collect. When i contacted the hospital they said that they have nothing to do with g.S. Financial.

G.S. Financial say's they will ruin my credit if i don't pay them. They basically can report whatever they want to the credit bureau and it's up to me to fix it if i can.

This is unfair and borderlines on just plain abuse. I think it's time collection agency's get a new set of rules to work with. We need to ask our government to step in.
