Ripoff Saxon believes it is above the law

We refinanced our home with Meritech/Saxon in 1999, it has been an ongoing battle to keep our home sense that time.

This company has been reported to BBB, as being a preditory lender. Now they believe they are above the law.

We make our payments on time and they would send them back stating they were late and add a late charge and service fee, then ask for two payments. This practice went on for several months, then they sent us notice they could not accept any payments, they wanted $1,222.00. Which we sent them.

After that we were ok for that month and it started all over the next month, adding bogus charges until we file a chapter 13, to save our home.

Our attorney took them to task and got a judgement against this company that states they owe us 1,548.00 in over charges.

Now they have sent us a bill stating we owe them $2,323.00, in fees, with no explination.
Our attorney says not to worrie that he is taking care of this problem, but I continue to get letters demanding this money.

I must add we are not now nor have we ever been late or missed a payment to this lender. I hope all that read this will be careful, this company is the worst I have ever had the mispleasure of comming across.

We are now looking to re-finance again and scard to trust any lenders. This home is all we have in the world, my husband is a disabled vietnam vet, and we are on a limited budget so with what this company has done to our credit has destroyed any hope of getting a good loan.
