Wachovia
First the crisis in the housing market and now back at the consumer without dislosing these importan

The account (carloan) was paid off by the insurance and a small amount. There was a refund due from the Manufacturing Extended Warranty to the Loan holder. The Manufacturer had to send the amount to the lender because of the payoff, which was done be the Loan holder. First it took hte entended Warranty people some 3 weeks for the refund. Now Wachovia deposited the refund check on their account, which was closed, and is telling the loan holder it will take 30 days before Wachovia can issue a check to refund the (overpayment) check, that should have gone to the Loan holder in the first place. Is this legal, there is no disclosure from Wachovia stating, that they are intitled without paying interest to withhold funds longer than 5 business days (as banks are allowed to put hold on checks). Are Lending institutions gods that they can do with the consumer as they like. First the crisis in the housing market and now back at the consumer without dislosing these important details.
