Cash Advance USA scam is still at it! Received a call stating that I received a cash advance of $300 and that charges were being filed against me for fraud because I did not pay it back. I told them that I have used only one cash advance company and that my account with them was current and to tell me what bank account the money went into. He said it was too late to provide me with any of this information and that they would be filing fraud charges in Florida and also Federal charges and that I would receive a subpena at my place of work or home address. He then went on to state that if they filed against me it would cost me $3,200 and attorney fees. I told him I would call him back and then I called my bank to check my account. I called him back to say I checked my account and that the money was never received in my account. Then he changed his story and said it was sent to me in a gift card in April and that I had spent the money on the gift card. I then asked for everything to be sent to me in writing and they said nothing could be sent to me in writing and that I would have to wire $310 Western Union to Victoria E. Estep in Waldorf, Maryland within 2 -3 days or else. At that point I looked online to find this scam that apparently has been going on for years! Can't someone stop this company? Victoria E. Estep needs to go to jail as all the scam money seems to be going directly to her! I did not fall for it but I can image a lot of other people have because they are using fear and intimidation to scam people out of their hard earned money!
