I sent an earlier horror story to this site (1-25-00) about the First USA Rate Scam. Since then I have made repeated calls and sent a letter, which have been to no avail. To this day, no one has called or written to me regarding the problem I am having with First USA bank. Of course the interest rate is 21.95% with no offer to lower it.

Now, since I have complained that they doubled my interest rate without any notice to me, and (according to them) my credit is great but I just have too much credit (???) they have slapped my account with two late fees, even though I have paid the amount due SEVERAL days prior to the due date.

I would like to hear from anyone who has had problems like this with First USA so that maybe we can get a class action suit filed against these crooks!
