Unresponsive to complaints

Business & Finance

Purchased "The hidden secrets of mind hypnotic control" in January. Noticed charges of 47 USD each 26th from March on. Of course I noticed the charges only in August, recently. Contacted the support email address. They explained that I had agreed to a membership subscription, free for the first month, afterwards 47 USD/month. Point 1: Perhaps they are right in this but I never received any member area access code and if they respond here they will have to admit that I never logged into this member's area! Point 2: Their order confirmation email does not list any membership subscription!
Since their order confirmation by email doesn't show this membership I categorize their behavior as fraudulent credit card charge without my permission. Had I noticed such a membership on my order confirmation, I'd had cancelled this right away if I had any access to a members area (but I dont).
Since I am a friendly person, I asked them to cancel this membership now. While they responded to my first email, they never more responded to any following email asking them to refund the charged amounts or give me access to their member area. Simply no response. So, I'll go through the chargeback procedure of my bank.
Their materials do not outweigh the hassle I have now. Not worth a purchase neither a ongoing membership without access to any member's area. Fraudulent business.
