Judgment still not resolved after the debt was paid off

My husband had a judgement by Capital One Bank. Portfolio Recovery bought the debt. My husband paid off the acct in April but we can't get the judgement resolved because they never changed over the plaintiff. We are trying to get a mortgage, but because it hasn't been resolved with the court we can't get our mortgage. We have been communicating with both companies and neither wants to resolve the issue. We have until the end of next week to get it resolved or we will not get the house we want to purchase. Any idea how to get this resolved before we lose our dream home.
