Speciality Merchandise Corporation
Work at home ripoff, scam, liars, cheaters

Business & Finance

Anyone looking to join "SMC" should not waste their time or money.

1. They can not keep anything in stock. Seems like every time you want somthing it is always out of stock or discontinued.

2. Their "free coach" that they offer on the infomercials is a joke.

3. They charge you between $300-$400 to sign up. But do not mention that you also have to pay a $30 yearly fee.

4. Shipping rates are out of this world. I pay 25% of my total order for shipping. That give you little or no profit on the order. You end up having to pass that on to you customers.

5. Their products are to well know. They advertise way too much. Every time you turn around there is a new member around you. They advertise the "white members price" on the infomercials so customers want you to sell the item to them for that cost.

I know 2 people that have had to close their retail store for left SMC because people would not buy at retail prices, they wanted them for the members price.

Overall "SMC" is a ripoff and a waste of your time and money.
