Rips off a Custome

Key Bank allowed someone to fraudulantly steal several thousands of dollars with a fraudulant check from our personal account. We were long time customers and figured that we'd get our money back, but it doesn't look like we'll ever see it. Who would think that a bank could do that?

One of their tellers allowed an "unsigned" fraudulant check to be written against our account. Key Bank would offer no explanation, offer us no help and hid behind several banking laws so that they couldn't be held responsible for their teller making an outrageous mistake. They then purposely delayed our search by making us think they were conducting an investigation and helping us.

We filed a complaint with the Comptroller of Currency, but it was too late to force them to return our stolen money. We had the police do an investigation and it is pending. One discovery was that part of the fraudlant check was deposited in one of their other customers accounts! Key bank knew it and never told us, nor has done one thing to help us get our money back despite allowing someone to rip us off.

We've pulled our money out of Key Bank. We've been ripped off This bank has no integrity whatsoever! Who would imagine that a bank could get away with doing this to someone!!! It was a lot of money!!!
