NCO Financial Systems - Capital One
NCO Financial Systems, Inc. Rip-off! There's an NCO charge on a credit card (Capital One) that I never even owned

NCO Financial called my husband to collect a debt owed to Capital One. My husband stated he never had a Capital One account and was called a liar by the rep. He called Capital One and was informed there was no record of any account under his name or SS#.

I wrote for his credit report and found that an entry was placed on it for this so-called Capital One account. The account number was the same NCO Financial used in their mail. My husband again called Capital One and referenced the account number given on the credit report. We were informed that Capital One did not authorized this entry with the Credit Bureaus and that the account number was an invalid number.

We then sent a letter (certified and signature request) to NCO Financial ordering them to cease and desist any attempts to collect on this non-existent account. Calls are still be received by them.
