They make commitments and then nothing happens as it was supposed to

I have been struggling to make an extra house payment since November 30 when my son who I cosigned for moved out and stuck me with the mortgage.

I have put $40,000.00 in remodeling to make the house saleable and also to keep up the mortgage payment, along with my own and other bills.

In a conversation with my attorney myself, and a representative of Country Wide it was agreed that as long as I kept the mortgage no more than 90 days delinquent they would not take any steps towards foreclosure. Also, once I received a written offer that I could then discontinue making any further payments.

On 8/10 I faxed the above information to there Correspondence Unit and asked that the above be put in writing, and as of yet have not received a response.

On 8/14 I drove to the house which is 150 miles away to discover that representatives of Country Wide had entered the premise and winterized the home. Also, had placed stickers on the front and back door telling unauthorized people to stay out. I had a hired a painter and called him to give him the balance of what I owed him. I asked him if people had been in the house and he said two people were there on 8/12 to winterize, mow the lawn and change the locks. Fortunately, they did not have the locks to change on brand new doors and locks.

I feel that I have lived up to what I said I would do and now they pull this. The 2 men who were representatives of Country Wide tracked mud all through the house which has brand new linoleum and carpeting, stole items from the house and I might add did a poor job of mowing the lawn. The painter indicated that they were there no more than 45 minutes.

I have communicated with these people on a regular basis and told them of the current status. Now I feel threatened that if I do not pay this thing current immediately, $2,400.00, worth that they will again invade the premise to change the locks.

Quite frankly, I am not quite sure where I can come up with any more funds
