They say when the going gets tough the tough get going. However, if you wait until your credit is in a tight spot like I did, you may quickly realize that get going is quite tough. Fortunately, if you take the appropriate steps to remedying your situation, such as by hiring a reputable firm such as Accurise, it won’t be too little too late. *Phew*

After five months, I’ve seen my score go up by about 70 points. I realize there’s no magic bullet that’s going to fix things instantly, but rather, the act of fixing credit is a drawn out and meticulous process. I wish it would be a bit faster, as now is a prime time to buy houses with greta interest rates.

I wish I had been a bit more vigilant with checking my credit score, as my limited credit history also played against me. Although I still need my score to go up another 50 points or so, in due time, I know I’ll get there.
