Direct Merchants Bank Card
Doubled interest rate to "increase revenue" on my acconut. Rip-off!

Direct Merchants Bank doubled the interest rates on my cards due to a need "to increase revenue" not on my credit standing (as per their letter). I received no notice of impending interest rate increase.

Is this legal? (URL deleted by usacomplaints.com) might be a good option.
