Not so bad

Efore the new year, i had signed up with freecreditreport.com, not knowing that i would be enrolled into a membership to see my FREE credit report. Now, i watch my billing statement very closely (being a victim of credit card fraud in the past) and saw where i had been charged 17.95 from "experianfreecreditreport". I was livid! I called immediately and spoke with someone who could barely understand me, they kept trying to sell me on "free this" or "half price that" until finally, i demanded a supervisor. I was on hold for about 2 minutes, then spoke with Armando. Now, i had read a complaint about this "armando" supervisor and was very hesitant, but explained in the calmest way of how i felt that i was being taken advantage of. Armando was very understanding (surprisingly) and advised me to look at the website again, since i hadnt since i signed up. I saw at the top of the landing page where it stated i would be charged if i had not cancelled. He cancelled my account for me, and even though i didnt get a refund, he showed me where to view my report once more and also provided me with all 3 credit agency reports for FREE. I have to say at first, i was incredibly upset with this company but after my conversation with armando, i realized that if we as consumers just read the print (it wasnt in fine, it was bold print) all around the page, we'll know what our responsibilities are. Once i got to the supervisor, i was very pleased and dont mind losing 17.95 for great customer service and a FREE 3 credit agency report. We just need to remember that if we're going to enter our card number over the internet, we should read the page. Thank you armando! I will be telling everyone i know about my unexpected exceptional experience i had with you!
