Ripoff

I am just another dummy who thought The Money Store was a great company to refinance with. Boy was I wrong. The minute you are one day late on a payment, they start adding on fees that by the way are illegal. If you send in the late fee with the payment, it goes in a pot to go towards those illegal fees and then you still owe late fees. And don't any of you say, then don't be late, because there is always a good reason at times.

Florida statutes say that they cannot add on any fees other than a $10 late fee, none other, zip, nada, but I am like you, find a lawyer that will take the case. I do have a web address on a lawyer that is going against a credit card company so I am going to e-mail him and see if he wants this one too.

It is so bad with this company, that when I was behind one payment which I western unioned it to them, they sent it back and then attempted to foreclose.

Beware, it isn't worth it to go with this company.
